Thackery Family Reunion

Over Labor Day we had a Family Reunion for Susan's side of the family (the Thackery's). It is a yearly thing and is always so much fun. We went to the Tifie Ranch in Morgan, Utah. It is so pretty and very well kept up. Camping is always fun, but we all get so dirty (AKA the picture of Shadie). They also had a Archery Range that we could use and we also went shooting. Skeet shooting is always a highlight of the reunion, all of us got to shoot and I'll tell you what, the boys are getting to be pretty good shots. JP and I are going to have to practise more, if we plan to be able to keep out shooting them. Also Ty and his Uncle Dan had a Archery contest and the winnings were huge, Ty bet if he lost he would work for Uncle Dan for a week without any pay and Uncle Dan bet if he lost he would give Ty a 12 gage shotgun. The stakes were HIGH! It was very close, they both shot 10 and placed 8 out of 10 on the target, then they each shot 3 more and they both placed 3 out of 3, then they shot the best out of 2 shots. Ty shot first and placed pretty close to the bulls eye, but then Uncle Dan placed in the same spot just below Ty's first shot, Ty's 2nd shot was really close to the first shot, so the pressure was on. Uncle Dan shot his 2nd shot and missed, his arrow bounced off the ground and hit the second target instead of the first target. Ty won and received a Remington 870, 12 gage shotgun for the prize. Thank you Uncle Dan!! Also thank you to Susan and all the other Aunts for putting on such a great reunion again this year. Love you all.
