HALLOWEEN 2011

Sorry this is such a late post, but we had a wonderful HALLOWEEN! We started by decorating the house and carving our pumpkins. We carve them a little different, we cut the bottoms off so the kids can put them on their heads and act like they are the headless horseman. Grandma Marilyn came over to help and we had a blast. For the kids costumes this year, we decided to go with a Christmas theme. Virgil was the Grinch, Waylon was Santa, Shadie was Cindy-Lou-Hou, Maggie was Mrs. Claus and Roanie was an Elf. Ty is getting to old to dress up, so he stayed home for the first little while to hand out candy to the Trick-or-Treaters. Virgil also got to dress up for school this year and his Grinch costume was a little hard to go to the bathroom in so he decided to go as Huckleberry Finn to school.

Few other fun things on Halloween day. We made our neighbors cupcakes. Maggie had lots of fun helping me. Aunt Sarah stopped by to Trick-or-Treat! She was Batman gone trucker! So,so, so funny. Also for part of Maggie's costume, I put curliers in her hair, she wore them all day long and her hair turned out so cute and perfect for Mrs. Claus.
